In Part 1, I described what I wanted to Claude and ended up with a website running on my laptop. Part 2 is about taking it off my laptop and putting it on the internet by setting up GitHub, pointing my domain at it, and a small bonus on the code editor I now love.
Start here → I Built My Portfolio With Claude Code. Here's How.
None, really. I copy-pasted SQL into finance dashboards, back when most of my job was wrangling spreadsheets and chasing down bank reconciliations. That was years ago. Nothing since.
So when Claude Code opened with git init, deploy.yml, vite.config.js, I had to keep reminding myself I wasn't supposed to know what any of that meant yet. Turns out, you don't have to. That's the vibe in vibecoding. You need the shape of what's happening, and a partner fluent in both English and machine language.
Claude was fluent in both.

In Part 3: Iterate and Monitor, I'll walk through how I reviewed content and design of the site overall.
You too can build your own portfolio, or whatever you want to build.
