The Beginning

It started with laughter echoing through a room filled with plant lovers. Nkasi Obi’s first physical event with Joy dragger house last year was so inspiring that Tobi, Kam and I knew we wanted to continue nurturing this beautiful momentum. We envisioned a space where intentions could take root, where dreams could unfold in the company of others who understand the patient art of growth.

The Gathering

Today, people began arriving at our first conversation of the year. Each person brought pieces of their imagination - worn magazines with folded corners, openness, kindness, and curiosity that would help tell their stories. The room slowly filled with gentle chatter and the rustle of materials finding their place on tables.

Sacred Hours

Denise guided us into stillness, creating space for our minds to settle and our hearts to open. Then came the moment that changed everything - inspired by Sienna Pierre’s Instagram post, we began a different kind of visioning process with 15 questions. Not just dreaming, but creating a clear plan for proper action boarding. People moved between stations, selecting different images and texts while contemplating their choices, pausing by the refreshments table for quiet conversations that sparked new ideas.

Flow of Creation

Music played softly as everyone found their rhythm. Some worked in focused silence, others shared quiet conversations about their emerging visions. The afternoon light shifted through the windows as boards came to life with images and words that spoke of hopes, plans, and quiet determinations. Each person's creative process was different - some methodical in their placement, others letting intuition guide their hands.

Circle of Sharing

In those final hours, something beautiful happened. One by one, people shared their boards. Each story was different, yet somehow familiar - dreams of growth, of change, of becoming. The room held each voice with such care. As we formed accountability partnerships, we weren't just matching plant journeys with action board milestones - we were creating connections that would stretch far beyond this single afternoon.
