Five things to know about me:

This life started in 2015

My path to Motitomi began with a foundation of academic excellence. As part of the founding class at the African Leadership University, I graduated with First Class Honours in Business and Management. This experience instilled in me a drive for continuous learning and a passion for making a positive impact.

Between 2016-2018

My professional journey started with roles at Swiss Re, a leading reinsurance firm, and Leadway Assurance, a prominent Nigerian insurance company. Here, I honed my skills in advising clients on expanding into emerging markets.

2019

I joined Paystack, a young fintech company with a bold vision at the time. Starting as a finance intern, I was drawn to the dynamic environment and the opportunity to contribute to building something special. This early exposure to startup culture ignited a spark of creativity and a desire to explore new ways of working. It was during this time that the seeds of Motitomi were first sown. I also discovered Notion at Paystack!

2020 - 2022

The company's rapid growth mirrored my own, as the team expanded and my role evolved. I transitioned to managing treasury operations in Ghana and South Africa, growing these markets significantly. I saw these markets experience explosive growth, scaling by 17x and 80x respectively in 2 years. Driving and witnessing this growth firsthand fuelled my desire to empower others to achieve their full potential.

2023

With a well-deserved sabbatical, I found space for reflection and self-discovery. I returned to Paystack with a renewed sense of purpose. I transitioned to start our Project Management Office in June. Now, my current role as Business Project Manager in Paystack allows me to leverage my experience to drive cross-functional collaboration and support ambitious company initiatives.

2024

Throughout my education and work, I have relentlessly pursued excellence obsessively. Motitomi ("I have become enough for myself" in Yoruba) reflects my journey towards self-acceptance and the joy of living an authentic life.

I've always sought ways to find joy in the everyday, and now, with Motitomi, I can share that passion with you – all fuelled by my love for Notion!
